Mansfield Elks Lodge #56
The Mansfield Lodge was formed in January 1886 and is still an active part of the Mansfield area. The lodge continues to help sponsor the annual Miss Ohio pageant by providing scholarship money and a yearly luncheon for the contestants. The lodge also supports high school seniors through lodge funded scholarships, local veterans, the county home, police and sheriffs departments, the fire department and local food banks through fund raisers and Elk grants, all with a membership around 175. Pride in the community is high in our lodge. We are centrally located and close to attractions like Kingwood Center, The Mansfield Reformatory (The Shawshank Redemption movie site tours) and Richland Mall, and Malabar Farms. The lodge continues to heavily support the Miss Ohio Pageant along with local Veterans and charities. The lodge has been newly remodeled, and our patio has been enlarged.
